About Deanna
A Guide Who Has Walked This Path
My Story
I'm Deanna, a certified life coach with a heart for helping people through grief, relationship struggles, and major life changes.
My path to coaching became deeply personal after losing my daughter, Shaniah, at just 13 years old. That loss changed every part of my life and taught me that grief doesn't follow a timeline, and healing doesn't mean forgetting the person you love.
Over the years, I've also learned how deeply relationships, marriage, heartbreak, boundaries, and family dynamics can affect every part of who we are. Sometimes we need support not because we are failing, but because we are carrying more than we know how to sort through on our own.
Today, I work with women and men who are grieving, struggling in relationships, rebuilding after divorce or heartbreak, setting healthier boundaries, or trying to find themselves again after a difficult season.
My approach is compassionate, honest, and practical. I want you to feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels true to you.
There can still be meaning, connection, love, and hope after life changes you.
How I Work
What You Can Always Expect
No timelines
Grief doesn't follow a schedule. I never rush the process or suggest you should be 'further along.'
No toxic positivity
I won't tell you everything happens for a reason. I will sit with you in the hard parts, honestly.
Forward, not away
We move forward together — not by leaving your loved one behind, but by learning to carry them differently.
Your grief, your way
There is no right way to grieve. My role is to support the path that is true for you, not to prescribe one.
